Qualifications
Qualifications:
? 3+ year experience operating a directional drill
? 3+ year experience as a locator
? Ability to comprehend and implement directions
? Ability to determine best route possible depending on existing utility locates
? Must pass pre-employment testing (MVR, drug screen and background check)
? Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
? Must be able to climb up and down ladders and lifts
? Ability to work in all weather conditions; this includes extreme temperatur
Other Requirements
Responsibilities of Operator/Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
? Operate horizontal directional drill rig
? Operate excavation equipment (backhoe, trencher, rock saw, etc.)
? Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment safely at all times
? Report vehicle and equipment maintenance requirements to fleet manager
? Repair damaged equipment as needed
? Document and report deficiencies in safety practices/equipment to the operations manager
? Report job progress to area supervisor daily
