At least 1 year of Fiber Optic Splicing Experience necessary.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
Must be able to pass a DOT health exam
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified individual who is proficient with fiber optic cable, splicing, terminating, testing, and documentation. Technician should have experience with aerial and underground installations of fiber, be fluent with OTDR test equipment, able to work in all weather conditions, able to lift objects up to 100 lbs., be a team player, but able to work alone as well, and have a willingness to travel.
Responsibilities/Duties
Read and interpret blueprints and splice diagrams.
Prep and dress multiple types of aerial and underground fiber optic enclosures.
Operate advanced tools and equipment including fusion splicers and OTDRs
Skills/Abilities
Follow direction from supervisor
Must be able to work reliably on your own
Must be comfortable working in tight spaces such as manholes, vaults, and lift buckets
Must be willing to work days and nights and be available for emergency call outs
Must have experience working on construction sites
Must be safety conscious
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
Must be able to pass a DOT health exam
