Based on points , Our average trained technician makes $1000 - $1200 weekly Responsible for installing, servicing and troubleshooting cable, high speed data, and digital voice services at business locations.
Other Requirements
Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screening
capable of carrying a 28Ft. ladder is required.
Company Trucks are offered to eligible applicants based on fleet inventory
Ability to repetitively lift 70 pounds, use a drill and hand tools throughout the day and to work in tight areas
Good driving record
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Installation of Cable TV, Phone and Data Services in commercial business
•Installing overhead drops and outlets to service
•Connecting equipment to the customer’s TV's, computers, etc.
•Direct contact with customers ; exceptional communication and customer service skills are a MUST
•Configuring advanced services to customer’s equipment
•Performing service calls and utilizing trouble shooting skills needed in the field
•Paid training, company uniforms, tools and a company truck
Experience in troubleshooting and repair as an Installer or Field Technician is preferred.Strong electronics/electrical or structured wiring background are preferred.Previous cable television or related experience is a plus
Including but not limited to: pulling cable (Cat3 & Cat5), terminations (110, 66, RJ11 & RJ45) and troubleshooting wiring / dial tone problems.
- Excellent ability at multi-tasking, setting priorities and tracking issues concurrently, with minimal supervision.
- Experience with outside plant or premise wiring installations
- Possess good interpersonal skills and customer service experience
- Working knowledge of test equipment (butt set, volt meters).
- Maintain confidentiality, safety and security standards at all times on assigned projects
- Respond to customer requests, questions or concerns in a professional and timely manner
