Qualifications
Well versed in Aerial, UG Fiber construction activities in an HFC Network, along with good communication skills and the desire to work closely with others.
Other Requirements
Requires 3 year’s experience in coordinating construction projects or other related activities. Must possess good communication skills and have the ability to provide project details in written or oral form for technical and non-technical personnel. Previous experience in aerial and underground architecture and construction, including a hybrid fiber coax system is required. Must be a self-starter, able to work with a minimum of supervision. Company will provide vehicle computer and phone as need
Job Description
Experience and responsible for planning, coordinating and completing all aspects of maintenance, repair, relocation and/or new construction projects. This person will typically work on 20 to 50 projects at a time, in a fast paced and challenging environment. Typically works closely with Customers Government Affairs and Town officials as well as representatives from various utilities, contractors, outside agencies and/or consultants and internal business
partners to communicate the scope of the project, on-going work schedules and project progress. The project coordinator is responsible to monitor, evaluate, approve, and QC work to ensure it complies with all company standards and Federal, State and local laws. You will need to assist in developing cost estimates for a project and control spending to ensure they are within budgeted guidelines for cost per mile and cost per home. You will be ask to continually find cost saving opportunities on these projects. You will need to verify as built documentation and all labor and material invoices. This construction is typically completed with contract labor and you must possess the skills to provide proper direction to this contract labor workforce. Perform other related responsibilities as assigned. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance. High school diploma, valid driver's license and clean driving record. Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate the work of contract workers and to monitor all aspects of a construction projects, including engineering issues, material usage, and workmanship.
