Job Description
Established Prime contractor (17 years under same management in this market) seeking experienced coax splicers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Work is mainly in/on MDU properties, and includes installation and activation in both new construction and retro projects, as well as general maintenance type work - lock box replacements, etc. You will need to work & communicate with Cable Company LNOC, wiring crews, jobsite personnel, and customers to ensure satisfactory & timely completion of all projects. You will be issued work and materials, and will be responsible for getting them done. As-builts are required for every job.
Job requires minimum 3 years field experience as a hardline splicer. Must carry your own insurance. Must have good understanding of safe & proper installation methods, electrical and fire codes, and proper grounding/bonding methods. Must have all necessary tools, ladders, meter, safety gear, and a presentable vehicle. Customer contact is required, so professional attitude and appearance are also required.
System is primarily .500/.750 feeder/trunk, with some .625/.875 in some areas.
Fiber splicing proficiency is a big plus
