Job Description
One of the nation's largest DISH installation companies Galaxy 1 Marketing, Inc. is seeking an Area Manager for our Galesburg, IL office.
This person will be fully responsible for all operational duties and metrics in a Galaxy 1 field office.
Directly supervises 5 or more employees at any given time. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees and contractors; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Responsible for achieving installation goals specific to their location.
Reviews performance; addressing escalated issues and resolving problems.
Provides daily leadership to employees within the office.
Recommend and initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges and disciplinary measures.
Determine schedules and routes, based on work load assigned and skill level of personnel.
Conducts on-site inspections to evaluate and coach team members regarding quality installations.
Reviews performance with employees every 6 weeks when new scorecard is tabulated.
Monitor parts inventory.
Manages fleet-related processes including vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
Other duties as assigned.
