Qualifications
Must be able to climb poles and ladders, operate bucket trucks, digger derrick, etc. Must know electrical safety and how electricity work, Must know proper cable pulling procedures. Must know how to set up a Safe Work Zone when arriving on job and know how to perform work in accordance with Electric Company Standards. Must be able to follow safety rules and practices. Must be able to meet physical requirements of job
Other Requirements
Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Must be available for call-out and after hours work. Must have a valid Drivers License and pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
Job Description
Supervisor, Lineman, and Apprentice Lineman needed to install aerial and underground self support fiber.
Lineman will work as a member of crew to construct, install, and maintain self support fiber optic lines. Lineman will also assist crew with preparing materials to be installed, handle wire and other materials needed for the job, maintain good housekeeping and help with general clean up. Lineman may also be responsible for completing administrative paperwork (JSA, near miss, daily's, safety meetings).
Apprentice Lineman will begin work on crew as ground hand and assist lineman. He/She will advance depending on his/her capabilities.
Main office is located in Gonzales, LA. Work will be in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi
