Telecommunication Engineer OSP/ISP
Telecommunication Contractor seeking Telecommunication Professional to engineer both distribution and feeder facilities. The Outside/Inside Plant Engineer is responsible for securing necessary field information, verifying existing records, document preparation, data input, preparing work order construction notes to plan and design fiber to the premise, copper migration and copper or fiber service to new or existing commercial or residential buildings.
Negotiate, coordinate and communicate outside plant engineering matters, including permit applications and rights of way, with field forces, private owners, and customers, building contractors, utilities and government agencies.
Prior working experience and basic knowledge of Outside Plant Engineering Practices & knowledge of LFACS, LEAD, BDMS, vBuild, iVapp, and ICGS
Experience with the CAD program such as Microstation v8i or NG, as well as high proficiency with MS Excel and/or MS Visio would be particularly useful.
The successful candidate will review prints, schedule walk outs and coordinate with multiple customers. This would be a great opportunity for an experienced OSP Engineer who is ready to get inside and out of the field. This job will be located in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas.
