Job Description
RCDD Certified Telecommunications Estimator/Project Manager:
We are currently looking for a very motivated and detailed oriented individual to add to our team.
Responsibilities:
Provide full telecommunications estimating and project management for large, complex work and all types of contracts. Able to provide professional direction in the area of Business Development and Company wide manufacturer certifications.
Duties:
1. Prepare estimate from quantity take offs.
2. Identify key parts of project for challenges and/or opportunities.
3. Review Specifications and drawings.
4. Identify potential value engineering.
5. Review material quotations for completeness
6. Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
7. Draft scope letters.
8. Knowledge of budget and schedule management.
9. Ability to manage projects in detail to successful financial outcomes
10 History of managing multiple projects simultaneously
11. Ability to direct field personnel in detail and technical field operations
12. Ability to work with Clients to negotiate project related circumstances and manage operations in acceptable
Skills:
1. 5 years minimum estimating telecommunications projects involving copper, fiber and outside plant.
2. Knowledge of estimating techniques and take off procedures.
Education:
1. RCDD mandatory.
2. Certified by manufacturer a plus.
3. High School graduate (minimum) or better.
