Qualifications
Attention to detail, previous experience working with utilities, understanding the placement and routing of those types of utilities/fiber optic cabling, and cable TV pathways/ aerial, underground small cell node type applications. A working understanding of both Aerial and Underground construction topologies for fiber optic cable placement. Computer skills include MS Excel, Word, Access, Power Point.
5+ years of experience in project management and 10 years of experience in underground/aeri

Education and/or Experience
Five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Able to pass background/drug test and MVR
Job Description
Responsible for the end to end implementation of fully executed service agreements in the Southern California market. The Project Manager is a matrix line management position with direct accountability over projects and responsibility for staff assigned to the project meeting objectives without having direct authority. Therefore it is highly important to have outstanding motivational, leadership, and team building skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management
• Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete projects and tasks assigned.
• Adhere to schedule requirements for work engagement completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
• Review project schedules with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by construction activities; revise the schedule as required
• Execute work orders according to objectives provided.
• Monitor the progress of field crew personnel and make necessary adjustments to ensure the successful completion job time lines.
• Establish communication schedules to support weekly updates.
• Review the quality of the work completed with team members on a regular basis to ensure that it meets customer standards
• Ensure that deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality

Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with our policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but not limited to: hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; skill performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems
