Urgent Need for OSP Engineers in Raleigh!! ITC Service Group, Inc. is currently hiring several OSP Engineers that includes Fielding Engineers, Make Ready Engineers, and OSP Engineers.
Fielding Engineers – Candidates should have some construction experience to assess the practicalities and logistics of a fiber build and to gather data that either confirms the desktop design or improves it. Candidates should be high energy. There’s a lot of windshield time, walking the streets, collecting data and then uploading it to our designers so being tech savvy helps. Candidates with more construction experience than engineering may be suitable.
Make Ready Engineers – This is more straightforward but probably the most difficult. Needs to have experience with pole owners, make ready applications and managing the MR process. Ex utility employees would be the best. However I will take a young enthusiastic engineer with minimal experience and we can insert him/her into an experienced team. This applies to the Fielding Engineers as well as we need to train some folks.
OSP Engineers – For the market teams I’m looking for someone whose got significant OSP experience and familiar with OSP design tools, CAD, deliverables and the ability to direct construction on RFI’s and providing technical support to our construction teams. The individual needs good communication skills.
