Qualifications
Ability to locate underground utilities utilizing special electronic locating instruments. Successful candidate should have at least 1 year experience in subsurface utility locating, including use of electromagnetic(EM)equipment, ground penetrating radar(GPR)equipment, Concrete GPR, CCTV and Vacuum Excavation. Be able to use laptop computer or other devices to receive, document and log work orders daily. Provide acurate documntation and/or sketches related to all completed locations.
Other Requirements
Valid State Driver's License, High School Diploma or GED and 1-2 years experience in utility locating.
Job Description
PULS, Inc., a leader in Subsurface Utility Engineering, is looking for a Utility Locating Technician to join our team in the Harrisonburg, VA area. Previous experience designating utilities and performing records research required. Must have experience using various EM equipment, and complete knowledge of vacuum excavation and underground utility locating equipment. Also, have ability to prepare and organize field sketches and digital photographs and complete daily checklists.
