Pay
Negotiable, depending on experience and abilities to CAD draft, perform EZ Load and O Calc calculations for pole loading. Around $20/hour.
Qualifications
Must be experienced in make-ready engineering and familiar with NESC and/or GO 95 regulations pertaining to aerial construction. Occasional overnight trips to beach cities (Roseville office). CAD drafting a plus. EZ Load and/or O Calc experience a plus.
Other Requirements
Reliable vehicle, Pass both criminal background check (no felonies) and drug screen, valid driver's license. All tools provided by employer.
Job Description
Both locations (Reno, Roseville) require a M/R engineer capable of walking out plant, taking pole measurements, determining conductor sizes, determine what facilities need to be lowered or raised, and filling out information sheets to allow for calculations.
We have a lot of work, as we are the prime contractor (engineering & construction) for Charter in the Reno/Tahoe areas. We also perform pole line engineering for various MSOs in central CA and the central/southern beach cities (SLO, Pismo, etc.).
We want a hard worker, someone who is capable of advancement.
