Qualifications
Knowledge of underground and aerial cable placement practices and methods. Knowledge of NESC. Previous experience with OSP Design. Background in OSP telecommunications networks: Walkout, Strand mapping, Makeready, Asbuilts, FTTP, Understanding of telecom network routing, proposed pole line, and/or underground pathways. Familiar with construction methods for aerial and UG deployment

Strong communication skills and follow up. Ability to interact with clients, state officials, vendors, other departments and senior management. Ability to handle multiple projects & tight deadlines in a fast paced environment. Present professional image at all times. MS Office, Adobe Pro, AutoCAD
Job Description
Looking for experienced field engineer to provide walkout surveys of proposed construction projects, and producing accurate detailed survey drawings.
This includes strand mapping, and pole profiles for all proposed new attachments, as well as UG mapping - detailing interior path from point of entry to termination.
Outline proposed telecom network cabling and gather all necessary information to complete comprehensive drawings, applications, permits and other associated paperwork in order to gain approvals
