• High School Diploma or GED required; some college with study in Telecom or Electronics preferred. • Minimum of two (2) years of Fiber Optic Splicing experience in an Outside Plant (OSP) construction environment required, three (3)+ years experience preferred. • FOA Certifications with field experience preferred. • Experience with basic Fiber Optic installation, splicing, and testing tools required. • Current, Valid Driver's License required; CDL Class A with air breaks preferred.

• Ability to provide 24x7 emergency response support. • Ability to travel as needed (minimum of 25%). • Ability to climb utility poles. • Ability to properly use safety equipment (PPE, Climb Harness, etc.). • Ability to Operate Aerial Lifts, exercise ladder safety, and to work safely in a manhole environment. • Ability to work both independently and with others as a team. • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and quickly changing work environment with strict deadlines.

If you have 2 or more years of experience splicing fiber in an Outside Plant (OSP) environment, have excellent troubleshooting ability, can identify and resolve Fiber Optic cable issues over long distances, and are extremely patient and detail oriented, this is an incredible opportunity for you!

As the Superintendent, you will get to take on the most challenging and complex projects, lead small crews to successfully build, splice, test, and maintain Fiber Optic Systems from node to tap in both aerial and underground environments, and contribute to the success of the entire organization at the individual and team level.
