Postions:
Crew leader/foreman
Experienced Construction Laborers
Experienced Underground Laborers
Note:
Can you operate a backhoe, puller, trencher or digger? This is a plus. Please specify when you apply.
Requirements:
Knowledge of OSHA regulations concerning excavations; specifically electrical hazards and safety procedures.
Knowledge of utility markings.
Valid Driver License.
CDL preferred, but not required. (Please specify when you apply)
Duties:
Rhode and rope
Pump water from manholes
Pull and place innerduct and fiber inside manhole systems.
Maintain safe working environment by keeping work areas clean and free of trash, scrap material and equipment not in use.
The Underground Construction Technician will demonstrate the ability to use hand and portable power tools safely and efficiently in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
Work long and irregular hours at times
Perform general maintenance on equipment.
