As soon as possible. Job is located in New Orleans, LA. Some projects require Travel from FL to TX. Projects include Commercial and Marine.
Pay
$22.50 to $30.00 Per Hour Depending Skill Set. OT after 40 Hours. Health Insurance after 90 Days. Company Vehicle for Work Hours. Lodging and Per Diem Paid by Company on Trips. 7 Paid Holidays. Annual Review for Raises.
Qualifications
TWIC Card - Company will pay for if you do not have. At least Level 1 Louisiana Fire Marshal Alarm License - Company will pay for if you do not have. Experience in Low-Voltage Cable Installation and Termination (Category Cable, Coaxial Cable, Fiber and Audio/Video Cable) and in IP Camera System Installations.
Other Requirements
Basic Hand Tools are required for this position. The Company provides all Large Tools such as Drills, Hammer Drills, Saws and Cable Testers. The Company also provides Ladders.
Job Description
Senior Low-Voltage Technician shall be able to carry-out and manage projects effectively. Some projects are out-of-town and can last from 1 week to several months. Ability to run a Project of Cabling and Surveillance Installation. Cabling consists of Category Cabling for Voice, Data, Wireless, POS, Access Control and IP Surveillance. Cabling also consists of Coaxial Cable for building or vessel MATV systems. Cabling also consists of Fiber Installation and Termination. The ability to build IDF and MDF Closets. Ability to Manage Crew and read Blueprints. Ability to Program IP Cameras and basic Network PC Knowledge.
