Job Description
Looking for a field engineer in a support function within the Network Engineering group. Specific work assigned can vary from focused to more generalized tasks. The Field Engineer position is a junior position (prior to entry level) in the Network Engineering department.
Duties
• Software configuration of Commercial CPE devices
• IP Address management for all Commercial services
• Coordinate and Support connection of Commercial devices, managed by others, to Metro IP Network/Commercial Network
• Work with Network Engineering and Field Engineering to support pre-planned:
– Adds, moves and changes (MAC) of Commercial devices
– Implementation of new Hospitality features and services
– Support of Commercial field trials and new product launch
