Other Requirements
Must be physically able to perform the tasks of a local manager such as lifting, bending and climbing ladders. A basic level of proficiency with a computer, wireless barcode scanner, smartphone and office equipment. Must be able to learn and understand the DirecTV system.
A Local Manager has to be near the computer and able to take calls from technicians, dispatch or DirecTV at all times while any of the technicians are in the field performing work.
Job Description
The Local Manager is responsible for but not limited to the following.
1) Oversee the day to day operation of 7-10 Technicians, making sure they have the equipment and support they need to complete their daily routes.
2) Verify that the technicians are arriving to customers’ homes in the correct time frame, that each job is properly completed and closed before rolling to the next one.
3) Resolving any customer issues and complaints that may be generated from work orders performed by our technicians.
4) Managing the warehouse, incoming and outgoing equipment.
5) Interviewing and qualifying potential new Technicians.
6) Performing Quality Assessments on completed work.
