Pay

$17-$18 per hour

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, ,multi-tasking and problems solving skills • High degree of computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel • Knowledge of XML, Unix, and FTP protocol helpful • Proficient in basic network troubleshooting to include being able to identify network components • Use telephony or electrical test instruments to determine inside wire or fiber defects • Identify and terminate cable color codes • Ability to pull and terminate Cat5/Cat6 cable

Other Requirements

• Ability to successfully pass drug screen and background check • Must have clean driving record (past 5 years) valid state driver's license and reliable transportation • Able to work in a high security prison environment with direct interaction with inmates • Signature of strict non-disclosure and confidentiality agreement(s) • Proven ability to work with minimal supervision • Must pass telephony test as a pre-requisite

Job Description

Principle Purpose of Job: The Service Technician will be directly responsible for providing preventive maintenance and ongoing repairs to various types of Kiosk: Lobby and Intake Kiosk, In-Pod Kiosks and Video Visitation units. Technician will also be responsible for the service and collections of Lobby Kiosk when directed to do so by G5 TEK, accurately count, sort and deposit funds into a pre-determined account setup by GTL.
Experience: The proposed Service Technician should have a minimum 3 years related field service experience.
Job Functions:
• Test, diagnose, repair and maintain software and hardware, including smaller peripheral components.
o This will include, but not be limited to, repairing and/or replacing defective or inadequate parts
• Maintain records of repairs, calibrations and test for trouble ticket tracking.
• Responsible for collecting Lobby and Intake Kiosk and depositing money in pre-determined account setup by vendor
• Must be able to travel from location to location (local travel) to execute duties associated with role, in an assigned territory
• Keep kiosk clean and maintained in proper working order
• Complete timesheets and paperwork as required for this position accurately and in a timely manner.
• Accountable for company assets and parts, as assigned
• Establish and maintain a positive and productive relationship with all current accounts within assigned territory.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, which shall include status updates on outstanding issues
Skill Requirements:
