Qualifications
CDL license a plus. Need qualified experienced linemen or Underground crews. All subcontractors must be experienced and established. Must have working knowledge of telecommunications underground construction. Must follow best practices for protecting existing underground utilities.
Other Requirements
Personal tools such as climbing belts and hooks for Aerial Linemen. Boring tools and equipment etc. for UG work. Must have all equipment, trucks and manpower to complete jobs safely and efficiently.
Job Description
Telecommunication UG and aerial work involving new builds. 230 miles aerial and 108 miles underground. Aerial crews that can climb poles and are experienced in all aspects of aerial construction. Missile bore crews, directional bore and plow crews needed ASAP for underground. Work is located in Chesapeake, VA Beach and Petersburg VA. Need crews that can handle a high volume while focusing on safety and quality. Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude. •Must be able to work independently at times and demonstrate good judgment and logical problem solving skills. •Must be knowledgeable with all typical safety procedures and apply them at all times. •Must be mechanically inclined and detailed oriented.
