Pay
Hourly plus production bonus. Sign on bonus for lineman, paid after 30 days. Pay is two weeks out and then every Friday after.
Qualifications
Must be able to use any type or size lasher. Climb poles in easement conditions, trim trees, perform make ready, cable transfers, set and remove poles, place fiber and coax. Must be able to perform in bucket trucks Pulling UG & aerial fiber and coax. Corning Flexnap experience a plus. Must be able to work 6 days a week and travel occasionally. Lodging will be provided for overnight travel. Must have clean driving record and be drug free. CDL a plus but not required.
Other Requirements
Must be able to read telco, CATV specs and red line ability a plus. Must have all climbing gear and hand tools. Must be able to pass drug & background check.
Job Description
Lineman and ground hands will be placing fiber and coax for MSOs and Telcos across Texas in all major metro areas to rural areas. Placing anything from long haul fiber to Corning Flexnap fiber for all major telco firms in the state. Will be placing aerial and UG fiber using bucket trucks, ladders, and climbing poles. Will be using pulling equipment from Arnco pullers, Hog Davis reel loaders, and truck mounted winches with capstans. Will be figure eight and hanging storage loops as well as show shoes. Tranfering single and multiple cables and performing make ready work. Looking for good hooks that want to make money and get paid every week. No drugs or drinking will be tolerated.
