Qualifications
Aerial/UG Foremen & Linemen - Must be capable of reading design and strand maps, operate bucket trucks, climb up to 30' height, ability to perform aerial maintenance, line extensions, fiber optic / telco cable installations and pole transfers. Must have current drivers license. (CDL a plus) Underground crews will need to know how to operate machinery and job locate requirements.

Job Description
Aerial/Underground Foreman’s primary duty is to direct the activities of everyone and everything on their site. They must take everything into account and make sound judgments; this person is the leader on the crew that all others look to for direction, motivation, and indication of success. The Aerial/Underground Foreman must communicate what is expected and make sure everything is done in order to make the job site as efficient and profitable as possible.
Underground Foreman is responsible for ensuring the equipment operators operate the equipment as directed in order to achieve the results required by the foreman. Foreman is required to ensure all locates are called in and completed prior to starting any digging. As such, the operator needs to take great care in avoiding costly downtime by maintaining the equipment and by not hitting utilities.
