• 5 years verifiable CATV / Fiber Optic design or construction experience • Must have knowledge of aerial and underground construction practices. • Knowledge of the NEC and installation practices and procedures. • Must be able to read CATV system prints and decipher all CATV and Fiber Related equipment in the field. • Interact with customer representatives, city employees, and property owners • Able to walk and stand for extending periods of time while visiting job sites

• computer skills a must (excel / word / outlook) • Must be able to read and clearly write English. Neat hand-writing is essential • Must be able to work with independently to complete scheduled surveys on a daily basis • Must have clean driving record to operate company vehicle. DMV records will be checked • Must pass drug and background check • Must be legally able to be employed in the United States. We utilize e-verify for all new hires.

We are looking for a field survey tech to perform site walkouts to gather information related to underground ROW permitting, as well as for commercial site access. Candidate must have a background in CATV and fiber optic plant construction and design to be able to identify closest pick up points to service new customers from existing plant. For the permit surveys, the candidate must be able to identify and document the location of existing utilities in the ROW utilizing USA markings, Locator, and experience. Tech must be able to record this information so that our permit drafter can easily discern all required information.

Must be able to work independently to complete daily schedule of surveys, and be able to adapt to changing priorities during the work day as determined by our customers. Working and walking outside in all weather conditions is essential.




This is a full-time position (35 to 40hrs per week) with occasional over time required based on work load
Pay will be hourly with rate depending on experience. Pay is weekly.
Employee will operate out of our Corona office.
Company vehicle will be provided to visit job sites
We also offer medical and dental insurance with company co-pay after 30 days.
