Qualifications
Experience in UG fiber pulling construction. Must be able to pass background check and have clean driving record. Must be eligible for employment in the United States. Current Class A license highly preferred. Applicants with previous supervisory experience would be eligible for crew lead positions.
Other Requirements
Work outside in all types of weather.
Must have a current, valid, unrestricted driver's license.
Must be able to pass a background check per company policy.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Must be mechanically inclined.
Must be detailed oriented
Job Description
Pulls Fiber Optic cables through ducts.
Proof conduit using a mandrel.
Install mule tape using a Duct Rodder.
Able to operate hydraulic reel trailers.
Setting up, operating a capstan.
Setting up all pulleys, guides and sheaves for fiber optic cable pulling.
Knowledge of fiber bend radius.
Installing pulling eyes.
Installing breakaway swivels for pulling fiber optic cables.
Knowledge of Figure 8 principles.
