Pay
Pay schedules discussed during interview. This is a Full Time In House Position. Contractors need not apply. Company vehicle is part of the compensation package, back and forth to work only.
Qualifications
5 years minimum experience required. Must be knowledgeable in most aspects of Fiber and Coax splicing including testing and documentation in MS Excel format. FTTB / UPS / FDP / Dedicated power circuits AC/DC.
Other Requirements
Loose tube, ribbon fusion splicers and all specialty tools & meters with the exception of your favorite hand tools will be provided. A newer bucket truck and newer splicing trailer is also supplied.
Job Description
An established company on the East Coast of Florida is in the search for a full time in house combination Fiber / Coax splicer.
Must be experienced in Aerial and Underground fiber and coax splicing. Must be able to de/re fiber and splice cases. Must be able to ring cut into existing fiber. Splice Coax Nodes, Amps, LE and Taps along with Forward and Reverse set up / balance.
Must be able to read prints and keep good records using MS Excel. Must be very good with all aspects of paperwork as it's part of each project.
Must have experience in splicing FTTB - FDP - and UPS either wall or rack mount.
We are a State wide Prime Contractor for multiple utilities so you must be willing to over night travel within the State of Florida if needed. We try and keep this to a minimum. You must be willing and able to work nights and weekends as 50% of your work will be between 1am and 6am.
You must be able to safely lift and carry a 75lb ladder or work off hooks when needed. A bucket truck is supplied so we try to keep the hooks and ladder to a minimum.
If your attitude is all about you or you have a lot of baggage that you can't sort out - don't waste our time. You won't last. We work off our customers schedule, not yours. We really would like you to succeed and prosper with us.
