Knowledge of standard aerial fiber optic construction practices, policies and procedures, ability to be on call 24/7/365 on a rotating basis, moderate travel required. CDL is not required but is preferred. Must be able to pass a drug test.

Hand tools not required, but is a plus. Supervisory experience is a plus. Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Advanced knowledge in standard aerial fiber optic construction practices, policies and procedures, knowledge and experience operating line truck, digger derrick, cable placing equipment; ability to climb poles; setting utility poles, pole transfers, pulling cable, moving slack and installing snow shoes; proper care, use and upkeep of company vehicles; ability to read and interpret construction prints, plans and specifications; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to be on call on 24/7/365 on a rotating basis; moderate travel required; ability to work in seasonal elements. Must possess a class B CDL operator's license or be able to obtain one. Supervisory experience is a plus. Must be able to pass drug test.
