Qualifications
• Performs all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment
• Responds to and participates in emergency and outage situations that require heavy construction capabilities
• Repairs, replaces and relocates aerial and underground cable plant including fiber optic, transportation, distribution and drop cable
• Provides support to other Lineman and Crews during all phases of construction activity

• Must be able to climb poles using gaffs or hooks
• Must be able to lift, reach, dig and carry heavy objects
• Must be able to travel
• Pre-employment drug testing

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Performs all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment
• Responds to and participates in emergency and outage situations that require heavy construction capabilities
• Repairs, replaces and relocates aerial and underground cable plant including fiber optic, transportation, distribution and drop cable
• Ensures plant construction meets industry standards, is technically reliable and performed in timely and cost efficient manner
• Constructs, repairs and maintains major telecommunication systems such as fiber cable, lashing, aerial strand, pole transfers, down-guys, underground fiber pulls, and responding to outages
• Provides support to other Lineman and Crews during all phases of construction activity
Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License / CDL a plus
• Must be able to climb poles using gaffs or hooks
• Must be able to lift, reach, dig and carry heavy objects
• Must be able to travel
• Pre-employment drug testing
