Salaried Position. Salary will depend on level of experience.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years construction experience in cable/telecommunications industry including both aerial and buried construction and maintenance. Previous experience supervising employees and managing crews. The position requires excellent management, interpersonal and communication skills. Familiar with all construction methods relating to State and Federal Regulations and Safety Standards. The position requires effective planning, organization and motivational skills.
Other Requirements
Valid Driver's License required, Class A CDL preferred.
Job Description
Primary responsibilities for the position will include:
-Provide management of hiring, training, directing and motivating employees.
-Ensure that each employee adheres to the rules, practices, and policies of the company.
-Represent company and interface with customers, property owners, utilities and municipalities.
-Assign work orders to the crews and ensure all projects are completed on time.
-Mediate all subcontractor issues including contract disputes and payroll resolutions.
-Ensures that all budget requirements are met.
-Review/Approve paperwork, such as dailies, timecards, billing, etc. to ensure accuracy.
-Complete paperwork and necessary reports in a timely manner.
-Responsible for maintaining employee safety by ensuring all procedures are followed in accordance with company policy and all applicable laws.
-Assist work crews as needed.
-Maintain oversight of warehouse staff to ensure proper materials are ordered and accurate inventory maintained.
-Perform all other duties as assigned.
