Pay
Full time hourly position. Monday-Friday (No Weekends) Hours are typically 7:30am to 4:00pm. Some overtime will be available. Pay rates are $24-$30 an hour based on computer skills and job experience. We offer paid vacation,401K etc.
Qualifications
Background experience with computer software programs. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Additional experience with Visio. computer-aided-design programs (CAD), Bentley,Autocad would be a plus but not necessity because the job entails viewing these programs and not actually designing with them. Having experience field experience with doing actual underground locates for utility,cable,and phone companies would be a great help. Ability to work fast and meet deadlines.
Job Description
We are a Prime contractor looking to hire a full time employee to work in the construction department of a major cable company in the Twin Cities. Successful candidate will assist our team of construction coordinators by coordinating the underground locate tickets from Gopher State One Call. Transferring tickets to screening techs and contract locater groups. Review all excavation tickets, send appropriate cable system maps to appropriate
businesses requesting locate tickets. Candidate will also assist our team in desk top surveys for commercial fiber projects- this entails using company digital system mapping software overlaid on Google Earth to measure distances and detailing routing and costs to provide service to businesses. We will provide paid on the job training on all systems that are used.
