Vice President, Fulfillment Operations
Corporate – Lawrence, KS
Summary:
This position is responsible for the oversight of all installment/ fulfillment operations for Bear Communications. The Vice President of Fulfillment Operations will have significant experience in managing telecommunications cable installation and fulfillment services, drop bury construction and large fiber builds. This position is also responsible for client relations, oversight of all remote residential and commercial broadband installation projects and be accountable for financial performance.
Job Duties:
•Provides vision, direction and management to existing and future cable fulfillment project contracts
•Analyze fulfillment expenses, track costs, investigate project cost variances and improve profitability
•Develop long-range forecasts and maintain long-range financial plans
•Provides Management Review Team with metrics and analysis to ensure that project goals are met on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis; communicates key milestones, issues and project status
•Ensure efficient processes are in place and projects are completed on time
•Resolves issues affecting projects scope, quality, effort, risk, and timeline
•Creates and manages contingency plans for the projects
•Reviews and provides feedback on projects deliverables (product requirements, functional specifications, etc.)
•Receive and reviews site documentation
•Monitors all site financials and manpower needs to effectively support projects
•Member of senior staff overseeing Bear Communications goals, objectives and methods for evaluating achievement and performance levels.
•Responsible for client and contractor relations
Qualifications:
•Contract experience with both large and small telecommunications companies
•Knowledge of Penguin Data Mobile Workforce Management Software
•Knowledge of Subscriber Drop Placement Construction
•Ability to implement, explain and apply applicable policies, procedures, laws, codes and regulations
•Accurately analyze, interpret and evaluate complex administrative and technical issues and data and make appropriate recommendations for action
•Make oral presentations to clearly convey information and concepts
•Work independently and as a part of a team and ensure safe work practices
Education and/or Experience:
