Job Description
This is a rural FTTH internet only project . This is splicing the house drops . There is 1 burn at the tap and a pigtail at the house . Need to do OTDR shot from tap to house and then house to tap to check for light and distance . We have 200 drops ready now and are lighting up the area daily . There is about a 50 50 mix aerial to UG . Many of the aerial can be reached by bucket truck but some will need to be done off a ladder. 32 foot leader will be needed . in some cases . Average 2 man crew would do 10 to 12 a day. We activate by area so drops can be mapped out and close to each other . This is a year to 2 year project . You can also hang drops as well and splice them . Average drop pays 50.00 to hang the drop. Average hotel is 750 a month for a double
