Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. A graduate of an accredited technical school is preferred.
Job Description
Perform miscellaneous design as required. This includes Telco, Fiber design, pole loading & MDU design.
Adhere to architecture and design specifications.
Complete bill of materials.
Drafting in various CAD platforms as required. This includes strand, Telco, Fiber & MDU layouts.
Responsible for accurate design and Q.C. on all submitted work.
Must be able to work closely with other drafting and design staff to produce accurate and timely designs as per customer deadlines.
Maintain and submit daily time sheets and weekly project log sheets.
Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.
Knowledge of Telco Fiber architectures would be helpful.
Must have experience with computer aided drafting, ACAD or Microstation.
Should have experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required.
Must have the ability to be flexible and work under pressure to meet. deadlines. Must be a self starter.
Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
