Qualifications
-Minimum of three years experience operating a horizontal directional drill.
-Telecom industry experience preferred.
-Class A CDL preferred.
-Current and valid drivers license with good record to operate company provided vehicle preferred.
-Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
-Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
-Dependable and trustworthy.
-Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of ones ability using his or her own initiative
Job Description
S&N is currently recruiting Drill Operators/Locators to work on major, long-term fiber build projects in the Raleigh, Charlotte and Atlanta markets. These positions will pay up to $23 per hour plus production bonus, depending on experience.
The Drill Operator/Locator will work on a directional drill crew placing plant as part of a fiber build project. The Drill Operator/Locator will report to a Drill Foreman and will be responsible for compliance with customer-specific operating and safety procedures.
