Must be able to pass drug test, background check, and have a clean driving record
Other Requirements
Ability to work aloft using bucket truck, ladder, or climb poles. Understand construction prints, and splice matrices. Willing to work outdoors at night, in all weather conditions. Willing to respond to outages 24-7, and travel to projects in other states. Experience and proficiency with CWDM, and PON components, including testing, and documentation. Experience with a variety of closures, including Tyco, Coyote/PLP and 3M
Job Description
Splice loose tube, and ribbon fiber optic cables.
Terminate at customers premise
Work with other in-house techs on ISP construction to customer term
Test with OTDR, source and power meter, and traffic identifier
Work in active closures without causing outages
Maintain documentation
