Be able to complete all aspects of coax splicing.
Other Requirements
Must have a bucket truck or pickup truck, digital meter, climbing ability, ladder. At least five years experience and ability to start and complete jobs handed in timely manner. Good work ethic a must. Valid driver's lic., commercial truck, limited liability, and workers' comp insurances (or 10% retained for WC).
Job Description
Has knowledge of General Instruments and Scientific Atlanta active and passive equipment. Know proper input level activation, map reading, tombstone reading, end of line reading. Be able to splice new build, maintenance, night splice, and new plant tie into existing. Ability to troubleshoot RF and powering. Splicing within specs of current plant and correcting any QC issues in a timely manner. Must have splicing and construction map knowledge. Have a professional and positive attitude and image along with a high sense of urgency, lots of drive and self-motivation. Flexible schedule. Ability to carry a 70 lb ladder and work extensive hours.
Mondays through Fridays a must, weekends are your call.
