Qualifications
Fiber Splicer - Needs to have knowledge in using and operating fiber optic splice equipment. Must be able to label and document all fibers as being spliced , operate OTDR equipment , splicing new and existing fibers from 24-288 , hot cuts and nights. ( CAN NOT BE A SUBCONTRACTOR )
Other Requirements
Tools are provided , you must pass a per-employment drug screen , background check , have a valid drivers license , A CDL is preferred but not required.

The Fiber Splicer is responsible for the maintenance and installation of new and existing fiber in an inside and outside plant environment.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Ability to climb and work at elevations (e. g. , from ladders, poles, lift trucks) exceeding 18 feet
• Ability to work in confined spaces (e. g. , attics, crawl spaces, utility holes)
• Ability to complete splicing in a timely manner and correctly.
• Valid driver's license
• Able to pass U/A drug screening and background check
