Qualifications
-Must have at least 2 years of CATV experience.
-Knowledge of aerial and UG construction practices is a must.
-Knowledge of NEC and installation practices required.
-Must be able to read system prints and identify all CATV equipment in the field. This includes fiber equipment.
-Make Ready and Permitting experience preferred. Knowledge of easements a plus.
-Must have positive communication skills.
-Must be able to manage day to day work load and report to area supervisor with findings.
Other Requirements
-Computer skills are a must.
-Neat, clean appearance required.
-Very neat writing / penmanship required.
-Current, valid driver's license
-Valid references requested
-Ability to use MS Excel and other MS Office apps, Bentley View, required.
-Ability to read Comcast system maps a plus.
Job Description
Survey Tech - Looking for an experienced, dependable, CATV survey tech (Contractor) to show proposed construction routes from OSP to term point to potential commercial customers in Western PA areas for both commercial and residential sites.
