Job Description
Empire Telecom is seeking a Director of Site Acquisition for the Baltimore, MD market. The Director will be responsible for overseeing all projects and all related work activities per client specifications in the allotted timeframe and established budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Work in cooperation of the General Manager and Site Acquisition Manager in the development and maintenance of Client Relationships and business opportunities
Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFP)
Complete project performance planning
Successful resource planning
P&L responsibility for projects and business unit
Develop and monitor budgets and report variances on a monthly and quarterly basis
Hiring, training and oversight of Development Services Project Managers
Servicing/maintenance of all project accounts
Develop and implement corporate policies and procedures to insure compliance and a professional code of conduct
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years in wireless telecommunications development services project management
Thorough beginning to end understanding of the development cycle and critical path management
Direct knowledge and experience in select domain expertise (RF, Site Acquisition, Zoning, Construction, A&E, Regulatory Compliance, Operations)
Proven track record in setting up and implementing wireless telecom turnkey projects
Experienced in developing and managing project performance plans/operating budgets (milestone run rates, manpower to site ratios, manpower to manpower ratios, individual performance metrics)
Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and meet deadlines
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
Ability to travel
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
