Pay
SALARY POSITION, $52k - $60k annually, BASED ON EXPERIENCE. Benefits available, including medical, dental and vision.
Qualifications
3 - 5 years related work experience. Fiber/Coax experience a PLUS. Experience working around multiple utilities. Ability to communicate effectively with team members. Work driven and able to follow instructions. Meet physical demands of outdoor construction work. Related safety training and certifications.
Other Requirements
Valid driver's license with good driving record. Must pass criminal background check and drug screen as part of new hire employment process.
Job Description
Responsibilities include supervision of daily activities for underground construction crew members, maintaining a safe work environment, daily job production/information reporting, optimizing crew productivity and ensuring quality workmanship. The Underground Supervisor has oversight responsibility of all equipment used to install ug cable and conduit and to bury copper, fiber optic and coaxial communications cable.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
*Review all project documents, permits, plans. Obtain a clear understanding of the project scope with PM.
*Confirm job start date, follow up on utility notifications. Plan initial construction activities and coordinate materials dispatch.
*Pre-Con meetings.
*Prepare weekly labor schedule.
*Monitor all job resources to enable successful completion of project scope without delay such as:
-Job site accessibility
-Schedule-communicate project sequencing with PM and customer
-Material inventory, allocation, ordering
-Direct daily construction activities
-Monitor safety of all construction activities and schedule safety meetings, as required
-Coordinate inspections, testing and material releases as required, report daily results
-Communicate with PM regarding any issues or additional work immediately
-Maintain work truck & equipment
