Full time hourly position. Monday - Friday (No weekends) Hours are typically 7:30am to 4:00pm. Some overtime will be available. Pay rates are $22- $30 an hour based on computer skills and job experience. We offer paid vacation, 401 K etc.
Qualifications
Background experience with computer software programs . Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Additional experience with Visio, computer-aided-design programs (CAD), Bentley, Autocad would be a plus but not a necessity because the job only entails viewing these programs and not actually designing with them. Ability to work fast and meet deadlines- Good problem solving abilities-Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team setting- a sense of humor is mandatory.
Job Description
We are looking to hire 2 full-time employees to work in Construction Department office of a major cable company in the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs. Successful candidates will assist cable company employees on system design projects,desk top surveys for commercial fiber projects- this includes locating sites Cable company digital system mapping software overlaid over Google Earth, measuring distances and detailing routing and cost to provide service to business. We provide paid training on all the systems that are used.
