Hourly rate depends on experience. Daily per diem paid along with a one time travel bonus. Health, dental, vision and life insurance available after 60 day min waiting period. 401k, profit sharing and bonus possible after 1 year waiting.
Qualifications
Min 3 years Rubber Tire Loader Backhoe experience with knowledge of common installation and safety practices. Must have valid Class D license with a valid Class A CDL preferred. Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Other Requirements
Tours can be as long as two weeks (10 on, 4 off) with some being 1 week. Full time employment with many opportunities available.
Job Description
The Loader Backhoe Operator performs all excavation activities using the backhoe. Functions such as exposing existing underground facilities, opening and closing plow trenches, setting peds and hand holes are common to underground installation of fiber optic cable. Other labor activities are included in the position description such as hand digging, pounding and loading/unloading equipment and material.
