Qualified techs need a few days to train under our SOP and become familiar with the system. Need techs ASAP. Need 2 or 3 MDU Crews for Lafayette, have 2000 units to wire within 4 months.
Pay
1099, piece rate, 30 days out but we work with you to ensure you can operate comfortably. Pay is weekly and always on time. MDU pay is also piece rate, based per outlet and per floor. Post wire mostly, some pre-wire coming.
Qualifications
Cat 5/6 experience, Fiber experience a bonus, rewire jobs are common so being able to route Cat 5/6 in the proper way a must. A lot of wireless equipment to be installed so CPU skills are needed. Wall fish is mandatory and pays $20 per fish. Customer relations are vital, must be able to handle all types and have a professional attitude and appearance. Drop techs must be able to pass our in house ladder testing and have all safety equipment. MDU crews need good experience in post wire projects.
Other Requirements
1099 positions. Must have reliable truck, van or SUV with all tools to complete the work. 28 foot ladder, 8 foot ladder, CAT 5 crimps and testers, punch down tools for giga jacks and other tools for a TV/PHONE/DATA install. We provide shirts, hoodies and hats and require them to be worn when on site. No shorts must wear jeans or khakis. MDU crews need ladders, fish tools, drills, flex bits and other necessary items.
Job Description
CTSI is looking for the best of the best, and our pay reflects that. Top piece rate pay in the area that comes with the responsibility of doing a quality job. FTH installs, CAT 5 wiring NO COAX. Wireless STB installs, DATA and phone. ONT power supply, CAT 5 to router and CAT 5 to VEN or SWITCH. Mandatory wall fish on most jobs to keep them clean and professional. Very few house wraps, its a last resort.
MDU crews must have experience in post wire of fiber outlets. Conduit on buildings, multiple floor fishes and a dedication to quality. Fiber splicing a bonus, both fusion and mechanical.
Drop techs must have ladders or climbing gear. Drops average 400 feet, both aerial and underground. Push rods are helpful for the UG drops.
