High School Diploma or Equivalent One year of technician and customer service experience preferred Must achieve and maintain all technical certifications Must maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record Must be able to pass a thorough criminal background check Must be able to pass a DMV records check if driving a company vehicle Must be able to pass a drug screen test before employment Must be able to work full time, up to and including six days a week;

Must be able to travel and work in inclement conditions Lift and carry loads up to 75 lbs. or more Must be able to kneel or crouch for extended periods of time Work while standing up 75-90% of the time Climb ladders and poles as determined by system requirements Work in tight spaces, including crawl spaces and attics Must have own truck and required tools Perform installs and repairs in a safe manner

Position Summary: Responsible for providing excellent customer service through installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading satellite television systems and equipment.

Job Description: The role and responsibilities of the Satellite Installation Technician include, but are not limited to, the following functions:

Plans installations by reviewing work orders, gathering supplies, evaluating location, locating access, formulating wiring plans, and arranging equipment
Installs and programs equipment
Troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, replaces, and upgrades components
Checks satellite TV systems for correct functionality and optimal performance
Ability and commitment to comply with safety procedures and requirements which include working and driving in a safe manner as outlined in our Safety Plan, as safety is our number one priority.
Ability to successfully market additional services and products to customers and assist customers in making product and service selections, based on customer’s needs.
Effectively uses power tools, hand tools, and all installation tools.
Treats customers with respect, courtesy, and professionalism at all times and provides excellent customer service which meets our targeted standards in regards to QC Scores, CSAT Scores, Completion Rates, Trouble Calls, and Productivity.
Adheres to policies and procedures while working autonomously
Ability to perform job from high places when necessary (on ladders and poles).
Ability to maintain fleet vehicle making sure it is clean, stocked and used properly according to our Fleet Policy.
Ability to continue education and maintain certifications by participating in ongoing training programs necessary to stay current with today’s changing satellite environment.
