Job Description
Company is located in Merrill Michigan and we seek a local aerial lineman for the Communication industry.
Summary: Perform Aerial Communication Lineman tasks for Fiber Optic and Copper Cable systems for both new and existing applications. Provide 24/7 emergency response support
Typical Responsibilities: Work with clients to plan installations as required; Install and repair fiber optic and copper cable in variety of environments; climb up to 50 ft.; experienced in bucket truck operation; experience in new cable installs, pole transfers, strand building, cable hanging, lashing, make readies, figure eighting; record/document testing per customer specs.; perform daily duties in safe manner; professional working attitude with co-workers/customers; uphold quality workmanship surpassing industry standards

Must have valid drivers license and ability to obtain DOT physical certification
CDL Class A certification a plus
Must have reliable transportation to and from work; must have own climbing equipment; self motivated and able to learn quickly; must be able and willing to work in all weather conditions; Able to mentor a less experienced team member as appropriate
