Job Description
QualTek is a turnkey provider in the Telecommunications Industry. We provide engineering, construction, fulfillment, and project management to the industry. Our customer base includes all the major US Carriers. A typical project takes the carriers requirements and develops and executes the processes required to take the initial design developed by the carrier to seamless completion. Our experienced management staff, qualified field technicians, accurate and state of the art data management and financial systems and dedicated network of subcontractors ensure projects are delivered on time in a quality and financially responsible manner.
The president is responsible for the day-to-day operating activities of the Company. President will work with department leaders to tailor action plans to each unit and monitors progress against milestones and goals. President exhibits the following behaviors: excellence and competence, teamwork, innovation, respect, personalization and accountability. Oversees budgets and ensures resources are properly allocated. Ensures departments meet individual goals.
Must have experience dealing with a construction sub-contractor and in-house model.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Collaborate with CEO to develop direction of the organization
Direct Company financial goals, objectives, and budgets
Implement Company guidelines on a day-to-day basis
Preside over quality control
Develop and implement strategies along with Division leadership
Grow the business through existing customers and by engaging new customers and projects.
Manage teams and workflow to optimize results.
Build customer and vendor relationships.
Relationship builder who collaborates and works well with diverse personalities
Results oriented with demonstrated ability to grow business
Holds self and others accountable with integrity
Exhibits calm under pressure
Practices safety first
Adept at using action plans and balanced scorecards
Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree plus 10 years related senior leadership in various telecommunications roles, working in a high-volume production environment
Position requires an effective delegator, risk manager, as well as an excellent communicator
Demonstrated record of fiscal management, financial acumen, and human resource management techniques
Working knowledge of design and construction methods and practices is a must
Able to travel to meet with customers and crews and manage projects
Minimum 10 years of senior level telecom project management experience necessary.
