Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years construction experience in cable/telecommunications industry including both aerial and buried construction and maintenance. Previous experience supervising employees and managing crews. The position requires excellent management, interpersonal and communication skills. Familiar with all construction methods relating to State and Federal Regulations and Safety Standards. The position requires effective planning, organization and motivational skills.
Valid Driver's license.
Job Description
-Manage the hiring, training, directing and motivating of employees
-Ensures that each employee adheres to the rules, practices, and policies of the company
-Represents company and interfaces with customers, property owners, utilities and municipalities
-Mediate all subcontractor issues including contract disputes and payroll resolutions
-Ensures that all budget requirements are met through check requests and expenditures
-Review paperwork, such as dailies, timecards, billing, etc. to ensure accuracy
-Complete paperwork and necessary reports in a timely manner.
-Responsible for maintaining employee safety by ensuring all safety procedures are followed in accordance with company policy and all applicable laws.
-Assist crews as needed
-Perform all other duties as assigned.
