Qualifications
Candidate must have the following:
• Minimum 3 years Experience in horizontal drill operating
• Knowledge of and ability to operate various drills from Ditch Witch to Vermeer
• Experience in operating backhoes, fusing machines, locator's and excavators.
• Knowledge of bore drawings, bore logs and daily reports
• Knowledge of soil conditions and drill mud mixtures
• Experienced in safety procedures
• Possess a valid driver's license
Other Requirements
• Basic Hand Tools
• Working knowledge of major platforms for directional drilling equipment
• Cell phone
• Great work ethic, self motivated.
Job Description
Operate horizontal directional drill rig (HDD) and/or it's locating equipment.
Comply with all company policies, regulatory safety regulations, and code requirements
Notify Construction managers of daily progress reports and all issues that may arise on site.
Lead the crew in the restoration of the job site to original conditions or better than when the work began.
Act as a leader on the crew.
Operate other construction equipment as needed to help the crew complete all required task on time.
