Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Main point of contact for project; leading project meetings and managing project documentation, including compilation and distribution of documents to customer with accuracy and timeliness.
• Responsible for effective, timely communication with stakeholders (customers, other Groups/Departments, etc.), holding all stakeholders accountable.
• Interfacing with customers in a way that builds and develops business relationships to foster growth and future work.
• Identify and manage all aspects of project risk and communicate risk appropriately.
• Responsible for monitoring the project from beginning to end to insure completion within deadlines and budget, and escalation of any risk of non-compliance.
• Managing the Change Order process including initiating/requesting and communicating upon approval.
• Responsible for escalating the need for resources (personnel, materials, equipment, etc.), including ongoing adjustments to facilitate schedule/deadlines.
• Coaching, motivating and mentoring team members.
• Assisting in projection of monthly revenues and communicating financial implications in a timely manner to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Understanding the industry and demonstrating technical familiarity/competency on the project and the ability to assess the technical knowledge of other team members consistent with project needs.
• Participating in front-end scope definition to insure smooth transition from the sales team to the field.

Required Skills:
• Telecommunication’s supervisory or utility construction management experience preferred.
• A general understanding of telecommunications construction.
• Ability to interface with office and field personnel, customers, general public, other management, visitors and company personnel.
• Leadership with skills to positively influence others, collaborate with teammates, communicate on the level of others, listen and understand people in circumstances common in the work place.
• The ability to embrace corporate values, understands the Company mission, and exemplify Company leadership behaviors.
• Proficient with MS Office to include: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Visio.
• Must be willing to travel.

Time Requirements:
This is a full-time salary position. You must be able to work beyond normal working hours of Monday through Friday including weekends as necessary. This position will be based in the Iron Mountain office and may require some travel.
