Strong background with Microsoft Office software - working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel Experience with Compter-Aided - Design (cad) programs would be very helpful. Ability to work fast and meet deadlines-Good problem solving abilities.- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team setting- a sense of humor is a plus.

Experience in the fields of Cable TV and or Underground Utility Location is a big plus, but will train the right candidate.Must pass background check and drug screening. Must have own transportation to office.

We are looking to hire a full-time employee to work from the office of a Cable Service Provider in the Minneapolis area. Successful applicant will assist primarily in desktop surveys and clearing of underground locate tickets. Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Preparing cost estimates for potential commercial fiber optic installations - this includes locating site on Google Earth and Cable Company digital system maps, measuring distances and detailing routing and cost to provide service to business.
- Using Cable Company digital system maps to clear locate tickets submitted by contractors/homeowners, etc. You will need to pinpoint precise location of cable system underground lines, in order to determine if proposed construction/landscaping etc will affect cable service.

There will be cross-training between these 2 duties, as well as others as needed.
